PRV, also know as Post Remediation Verification, refers to the process preceding the remediation. Quality Mold Solutions will arrive with our specialized equipment to determine if the remediation was taken care of properly and efficiently. Additionally, we take mold samples and send them to a lab to make sure the area(s) of concern have been restored to a condition 1 (normal fungal ecology) state.
Our PRV includes a visual assessment and moisture survey of the areas that were remediated. We follow industry standards to insure the remediation that took place followed protocol if one was written. If everything checks out and standards were followed, we proceed with air sampling to further confirm remediation was properly followed.
